Biltmore was awesome. Asheville has a lot of areas that have deteriorated since last we where there. Driving thru town it seemed depressing and did not feel safe. Biltmore yes Asheville right now no no no. Loved visiting Biltmore Estate and gardens. I would encourage visitors to tour the city with Gray Line Trolley. You can hop off and back on after seeing some highlights of the city.

I plan to come back to visit the Biltmore, and spend more time in the fantastic downtown area. The Arboretum is a definite for a return trip.
